We currently run Beginners to Intermediary Gun Dog training on 121 basis. Flick runs her own Gun Dogs in a working capacity & is a fabulous & fun guide.
Gundog training 121 - Whether you wish to take your dog out in the field, or if you have a Gun dog breed & want to learn gundog training for fun. These 121s are personalised for you & take into account your breed of gundog e.g. spaniel vs. retriever vs. hpr we cover:
Steadiness
On & off lead heelwork
Retrieving
Presentation to hand
Water retrieves with our three onsite ponds
Real life scenario drills
Stop whistle
GUN DOG PUPPY COURSE
We have launched our specialist 8-week Gundog Puppy Course created & designed to fit the needs of Gun Dog Puppies over 4 months old.
This Custom Course has evolved due to the recognition of the unique needs of Gun Dog Breeds by our founder Zoologist, Flick, who lived with Wolves & studied at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna.
Flick used this in-depth Canine study & experiences of working her own dogs, training & raising a multitude of Gundogs & a new litter, to develop a course that gives all Gundog breed puppies methods of calm, engaging brain stimulation & techniques to instill a confident steadiness with pacey retrieves.
They are happiest when working & bonding powerfully with their handler.
This Course consists of, 8 specialist Gundog Puppy Training Sessions.
Flick introduces an early focus on whistle work, hand signals, steadiness, eye contact work, puppy retrieves, inside & outside paddock working in all weather, as well as the usual introduction to noise, objects, socialisation & obedience, whilst protecting puppy joints.
You can progress onto level 2 Gundog Puppy Course, Flick wanted to ensure that there was progression training available.
We progress development through a series of Gundog Workshops, 121s & Puppy Practice Training Club. Of course, we do adult Gundog 121s from 7 months old.
Gundogs need special handling & to be stimulated & steadied this sets you up for success in working your dog in field or trial.

At the Pearlwynd Training & Activity Centre we are developing what our community needs, this is a rural & Gundog community. So if you have a request do fill in our form below and we will try & create it for you. The entire aim of the Activity Centre is to provide what the community needs.
We are very excited to be in negotiations to run both a Scurry & more advanced Gun Dog training.
